What this desk does, what it cannot do, and what it earns from. Read this before deciding whether to believe the figures.

Information, not advice

These pages are information, not advice. The rows describe what the regulator has published, not what a reader should do. Nothing on this site is a recommendation or an offer. A reader who acts on the figures decides alone and is responsible for their own decision.

The measurement is taken from named public sources and republished with the date and the hour it was read. The limits of the source are the limits of the figure. A reader should check the source at its publisher before relying on the number.

The desk and its one measurement

The subject is one measurement: rows of public notices as the CMA published them. The order is the CMA's date, newest first. The sources are named under every table, with a link. A reader can check the figure at its publisher.

Responsibility sits with the editorial desk, the Licence Lookup Kenya desk. The desk reads the named sources, records what they publish, and answers corrections sent to the address on the contact page. A figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated.

What the site is not

The site is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser. It holds no client money and accepts no orders. It has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form.

It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs. The publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.

Funding and the affiliate relationship

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account there, the site is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This relationship is stated plainly.

The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. Following the link leaves this site. Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the desk. Corrections are the reason the address exists.
